How Much Daily Water Do You Really Need?

Hi Reader,

You’ve probably heard a lot of rules about how much water you should be drinking every day. But how much water you need is an individualized number, based on your gender, body weight, lifestyle, and more. We help you break it down in this new post.

New Post! How Much Water Do You Need Daily?

Getting enough water is important because it helps regulate your body temperature, prevent infections, deliver nutrients throughout your body, improve digestion, and keep your skin and joints healthy. Being properly hydrated also has been linked to better sleep, clearer thinking, and improved mood.

💦 3 Ways We Prioritize Hydration 💦

  1. We drink a glass of water first thing in the morning. To help build this habit, we like to fill our water bottles the night before and stash them on our bedside tables.
  2. We drink most of our water between meals. We aim to drink most of our water intake between meals, which helps improve the digestion of the foods we eat later.
  3. We use an electrolyte to boost absorption. Electrolytes are nutrients that help direct water to the parts of your body that need it most and they maintain optimal fluid balance inside your body’s cells.

Our go-to hydration mix-in for more than two years has been LMNT electrolyte. It’s a popular powder mix-in that’s easy to add to water for a boost to our hydration and electrolyte intake. Try LMNT and get a free sample pack with any drink mix purchase. It's a great way to try all the flavors and find your fave!

What We're Loving Now

  • Ana is loving these Buttery Soft Lounge Leggings. "They're the perfect fit, high-waisted, and have flattering lines. I have them in sky blue but they're available in three colors, and currently on sale!"
  • Molly says this Danish Whisk is a staple in her kitchen. "I use it all the time, it's easy to hold, and makes whisking so effortless. Unlike a spoon, this tool will give you a much smoother texture in your batters."
  • Stacie's children love this Kids' Wheelbarrow. "It's one of their most favorite outdoor toys that also serves a purpose. Perfect for helping mom and dad around the yard. Would also make for a great gift for a kiddo with a summer birthday!"
  • Jessie says her husband swears by these Dickies Slim Fit Pocket Work Pants. "He has them in every color, they fit nicely (not too loose or slouchy), and he can dress them up for a casual night out. Of all the Dickies pants he has put to the test over the years in the garage, yard, and fire station, these are his go-to. He says the pocket is clutch! And they would make a great Father's Day gift."
  • Jess is firmly on team 'Keep the Kitchen Cool' all summer long. So she loves her Breville Mini Toaster Oven because it allows her to bake, broil, toast, or reheat from frozen without turning on her big oven. "I've had this toaster oven for 6 years and we use it daily."
